contiene 4 CD e un libro di 32 pagine dove il Rè della Soul Music
viene descritto dal noto biografo David Ritz, il tutto arricchito da
rare Foto che lo ritraggono nei momenti più belli della sua
sfolgorante carriera. i brani sono stai tutti riregistrati di sana
pianta nel famoso "Whitney Recording Studios" di Glendale in
California, e ridigitalizzati presso lo "Sterling Sound Studio" di
New York. Hanno partecipano oltre allo stesso Barry White che canta
quasi tutti i brani e suona anche, chitarra, piano, tastiere, basso,
e percussioni, anche musicisti del calibro di: David T. Walker, Dean
Parks, Lee Ritenour (Alle Chitarre), Stella Castalucci (all'Arpa),
Ernie Watts, Bill Green (Flauto e Saxsofono), Gerald Albright (Saxsofono),
Jerry Hey, Gary Grant (Alla Tromba), George Bohanon (Al Trombone)
Vince DaRosa (Al Corno Francese), Gene Page, Jack Perry, Chuckii
Booker (Pianoforte e Tastire), Wilton Felder, Nathan East, Willie
Sistrunk (Al Basso), Ed Greene, Delacy White (Alle Percussioni),
Paulinho Da Costa, Bobby Hall (Percussioni Ritmiche), inoltre, Vella

Inutile dire che in questo prestigioso cofanetto c'è un pezzo
importante della storia della musica Soul Mondiale, e ripercorre
fedelmente le fasi più importanti dell'artista scomparso nel 2003,
un gigante della musica, sia fisicamente che artisticamente, che ci
ha regalato momenti indimenticabili che si possono rivivere in tutto
il loro splendore grazie a questa opera Limitata, e quasi
introvabile. A renderla rara è l'aggiunta del 4° CD che contiene la
dolcissima nouva versione remixata di uno dei cavalli di battaglia
di Barry White "Let The Music Play" presente solo in questo
rarissimo cofanetto. |
