Danny Krivit storico Dj le cui radici artistiche partono da molto lontano. Pioniere del remix e venerato DJ di New York, Danny Krivit cresce nel Greenwich Village degl’anni sessanta, circondato da un ambiente musicale in pieno fermento; il padre è il manager di Chet Baker famosissimo Jazzista, e la madre una nota cantante jazz. Entra in contatto con artisti del calibro di Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, John Lennon e Yoko Ono, mentre coltiva la grande passione per il vinile, che diverrà poi la sua professione un amico manager lo presenta ad uno dei suoi artisti: James Brown. James inizia a passargli in anteprima i suoi dischi mix che Danny propone regolarmente al Ninth Circe, club che nel frattempo, suo padre ha aperto. Nel 1977 diventa il DJ principale del Ones, secondo club aperto dal padre, ed immediatamente si impone all’attenzione della scena underground newyorkese. I suoi DJ set risentono di quella che è da considerarsi un’ epoca fondamentale della club culture di New York nella metà degl’anni settanta. Produce anche sotto lo pseudonimo di “Mr.K”, Remix che hanno fatto storia. Fonda negli anni 90 insieme a Francois Kevorkian e Joe Claussel, i leggendari e longevi party “Body & Soul”.

Questo doppio CD pubblicato esclusivamente per il mercato Giapponese contiene una serie di chicche e rarità in versione 12''Inch Extended Mix, riedittate dallo stesso Danny Krivit e scovate nel suo vastissimo archivio personale che vanta otre cinquantamila vinili. Tutti i brani presenti in questa compilation appartengono al vasto repertorio musicale della Salsoul Records. Il CD 1 contiene una sequenza Mixata da Danny Krivit utilizzando grandi Hit Salsoul mixate o remixate da altrettanti storici Deejay e produttori dell'epoca d'oro della Label come; Tom Moulton, Walter Gibbons e Shep Pettibone. Nel CD 2 sono presenti 10 rare tracce nelle versioni riedittate da Danny Krivit rarità che appaiono solamente in questo doppio CD Made In Japan.
